I bought Jess in October 2003. She is the first bitch that I owned. She has a beautiful soft shiny coat and is of petit build as she is from working lines.

Jess is a very loyal and loveable girl. She oozes intelligence and really is a very pretty little lady. I am sure that she has passed these qualities to her puppies.

When I am at home Jess is never more than 2 foot steps away. Out in the fields is a different story. I am sure she must do 3 times the walk we do. She has a superb nose on her and once she picks up a scent she is off. I am sure that Jess would be very good at picking up in the field with the right training.

The biggest characteristic of Jess is the smile that she gives to everyone to greet them. When she smiles you can see her pearly white teeth. It makes me laugh every time she does it.

Sadly when Jess was 18 months old she had to have her tail docked as she had a small cut in the tip which became infected. This just adds to her character and in a funny way really suits her. That little stump never stops wagging! Jess is such a brave little girl as this really was an awful time for her as we nearly lost her due to the infection being so bad. She is my brave little soldier and I love her to bits.

Jess had her first litter of puppies on 28th September 2005. She had 5 girls and 1 boy. Jess did us proud again on 14th July 2007 when she produced her second litter. We had 3 girls and 3 boys. Sadly she didn't have an easy time of it all and had to have a c-section along with being spayed. Being the trooper Jess is she went on to be a fabulous mummy to this litter. Now she is retired from breeding at the age of 4 and will have a long and happy life with us here.

I love Jessica with all my heart. She is a one in a million dog and their will never be a dog that comes close to her for temprement, kindness, loyalty and everything else this little lady brings to my life.
